いらっしゃいませ

One thing, done right. Always.

Do one thing perfectly, instead of a hundred things poorly. Our hero is tonkatsu — the panko-crusted cutlet also known as donkatsu, fried to order. We ship our own fresh panko directly from Korea and make our King Sauce in-house. Udon, ramen and soba round out the menu, but everything orbits the cutlet.

What we believe

Three things, every day.

01 — おもてなし

Omotenashi

Wholehearted hospitality. We anticipate, we don’t react — the best service feels invisible, because what a guest needed was already there.

02 — 匠

Craft

Every plate, every detail, every time. The same panko, the same fry time, the same care — first ticket of the day or last.

03 — 誇

Pride

In our food, our team, and our space. Not loud — consistent. A wiped table, a calm voice, a kind word.

A note from our founder

We built this the way we build everything in our family.

“With care, with patience, and with the belief that food is how people come home to each other.”

Kisoya is the Japanese kitchen of LJ Hospitality Group — brought to Suwanee by Jimmy & Sun Mi Tanaka, alongside sister brands Koquio and Sunny Ice Cream.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Do you take reservations?

Walk-ins are always welcome — Kisoya is casual and self-service, with no tipping. If you'd like a table held, send a request through our reservations page and we'll confirm personally. Parties of 8 or more, please add a note.

Do you have gluten-free options?

Tonkatsu is panko-breaded, so most of our dishes contain gluten. Good news: our sister restaurant Koquio, right next door, serves 100% gluten-free fried chicken.

Is there parking?

Yes — free parking in the plaza lot right outside the restaurant at 1291 Old Peachtree Rd NW, Ste 110, Suwanee, GA 30024.

Is Kisoya family-friendly?

Very. It's casual and quick — order at the kiosk, find a seat, and we bring the food out. Katsu, udon and rice bowls are kid favorites, and there's no tipping.

Do you offer catering?

Yes — individually boxed Japanese katsu plates for offices, schools, teams and churches across Suwanee, Duluth and greater Gwinnett. Packages from $140 with free delivery over $150. See our catering page to request a quote.

Do you offer takeout and delivery?

Yes. Order takeout directly through our Toast page — commission-free, best prices — or get delivery on Uber Eats, DoorDash, or Grubhub (links in the footer).
